We’re watching, learning and implementing…
Human Factors can be loosely explained as observations and studies of products within the real world and analysis of trends through market research using qualitative data helps achieve a deep understanding of consumer behaviour. The results of these usability studies are actionable user insights that drive the design ideation process.
Considering human factors within the design process enables the greatest potential for user and product by not only considering the user, but also the technology and the environment together as a system. By maintaining the end-user-value of a product as the focus throughout development, we produce solutions that users operate safely in real-world conditions as well as embrace. This provides better efficiency and overall lower cost to deliver a complete, faster, end-to-end development project
Understanding fully what the users requires is an essential point to effectively realise the full value, however expressed, and then determine HOW to meet these needs with an elegant solution. Our industrial designers at Papa Bravo, have significant experience in the understanding and delivery of such requirements and bring an array of skills necessary to meet such a challenge when it comes to human factors.
When Papa Bravo embarks on a new design project we always remind ourselves that we want whatever we are designing to not only be beautiful, but also to create an emotional connection with end users. The big win is not the design of the actual product, but seeing the delight that comes with watching people interacting with a great product and enjoy its purpose and functionality.
In trying to achieve this Papa Bravo constantly evolves research methodologies and toolkits to better understand people’s needs and behaviors, and to uncover hidden opportunities. All of our design team and many of our clients participate in design research, because it informs and inspires our ideation design process.
