After successfully developing a unique pair of children’s scissors for Lovejoy Learning, the company tasked Papa Bravo with the challenge of creating a distinctive product brand and complimentary packaging. The client was keen for the brand language to clearly communicate their ‘Cut Control Technology’ and for the product packaging to capture the company’s core values of ‘experience learning’.
Numerous brand and packaging concepts were presented to the client so that they could evaluate and select a preferred option based on their understanding of the target market. Lovejoy Learning felt that the chosen brand and packaging design was particularly strong as it could be adapted and used right across the full range of educational products the company intend to produce; as well as enabling them to differentiate from the competition.
The client was particularly impressed with the final result, especially the way in which the consumer would be able to safely actuate the scissors whilst in its packaging. Coupled with this, the viewing window helped emphasise and better sell the ‘Cut Control Technology’ as it could be seen from both sides of the packaging.
